Lixiping Leisure Agricultural District: Huazizai

The next interesting leisure farm in Lixiping Leisure Agricultural District is Huazizai. This place is located near Asia pear farm and only 100 meter from Jin Fong Yen Yu Farm, in which the biggest Kastuba grower in Taiwan. This place is very special with their characteristics, design and facilities they provide. Huazizai start their daily operation at 8 AM until 8 PM. This place is very unique, because the owner, Yin Hui Yang, want to make something new that people never enjoy before. So he uses his creativity to innovate a new concept of restaurant and homestay in this area. And the most interesting is that the entire magnificent design interior in this place is decorated by him.

Even this place is not such a huge area, only 2000 m², but everyday many tourists come here just to feel the fresh air and relax with a cup of special herbal tea, to enjoy their limited-leisure time they have before they’re going back to their busy daily activities. Some of them visit this place just to have lunch with their family or colleague to trying the special food in here. The owner uses Nano Technology to keep the environment in this place stay fresh. And he also uses this technology to grow fruits and vegetables in his farm. It’s organic, without using pesticide and other chemical, particularly. They will let the tourist pick the fruit and vegetables by themselves to cook in the restaurant or to bring home. All the foods provide in this restaurant are from this farm, and it is very fresh and healthy to consume. The menu offered every day is different, adjusted with the farm harvest in each day.

However, especially in the weekend, many tourists will also stay in here while enjoying the beautiful environment of lixiping. Huazizai has 4 homestay. I don’t get the exact information about how much the price is for each room. But I heard from the officer in my office that we should prepare at least 9600 NT per room for two people. So expensive :O. hehe. And this price will include dinner and breakfast, which cost 1200 NT if we just want to get single order, and afternoon tea, which cost 300 NT. Even the price is so high, but many people want visit this place and we should book the room for a month before if we want to stay here. And don’t worry, for weekend and holiday we will get 20% off.
